Abdul-Aziz Dembélé is a sociologist with a Ph.D. from the Université Rennes 2 (France). His research focuses on digital transformations in West Africa, with particular attention to Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal. Adopting a critical approach based on case studies and ethnographic fieldwork, he explores the socio-economic changes driven by the large-scale diffusion of digital technologies.
